I guess a lot depends on what time i arrive but what would be best for maximum impact, i only have fifty, should we hand them out to randoms in our area or try get a mini tifo display happening :?:

I had forgotten which ones were on it, and couldn't remember at the game, so that was a bit funny (I ended up without a copy)

it was useful when we were getting set up to have something to use to engage with the people around us a bit

Here's a short sharp blurb that we might want to distribute around our GA section with our chant list. I've gone in this direction cos i reckon none of the people who are sitting in the GA will know anything about the forum, adn i reckon the previous blurb was WAAAAY to long, no one wants to read a lot, nor do they hav the time when there is so much else going on.

Opinions, edits?

The Offside Set

We are a new supporters group that have established ourselves in Aisle 31. We wish to cheer on our team in a vocal, colourful and FUN manner that we hope will both spur on our Melbourne Victory team and create a festive and entertaining experience for our supporters. Rest assured that we will not participate or condone any offensive language in our chants or songs and aim to provide a safe and energetic space for children to enjoy in both the game and the stadium experience. We invite you to join us in Aisle 31 to celebrate today's match or alternatively to join in with our chants in your chosen seats, from the list of chants provided below.

BTW nothing wrong with the old blurb, just thought it needs to be short, to the point and not too much detail, then get right into the words for the chants.

What cahnts should be list?

I'll get this sorted and print out a heap for our next home game

Just cut'n'pasted a long post I had written about doing this thing with newspaper, but we don't get the Age for free anymore at games, then I cut'n'paste something over the top of it and lost it...**** it, just watch the clip and see what i mean (recognise the chant in the first clip anyone, the next chant is good)

they look good - wonder why they used green - I don't think it is their colour

I'd be a little worried that those things would look too much like pom poms for US or AFL games

Where you been?

Flying balloon, are they expensive?
If yes, maybe we can wait till we've got some more on board, and all chuck money in to do it good and proper.

By the way, i've still got some of blue balloons you bought last time, will bring em this week.

What about if we made the blurb a bit 'chattier'

Dear fellow Melbourne Victory supporter.

We are the 'Off Sider Set' a small but committed group of fans that have established ourselves in bay 31-32.

Just thought I'd note that I['ve taken on boad all your comments, and hope to tweak the chant sheet soon, (hopefully tonight?) ready to be printed out for the weekend. Has anyone got just one more pic that I can put in the bottom corner (I want Rollins'/CLM's banner!!!)
