Tue Oct 24, 2006 11:57 am   AUFC - 1 Dec 06

I'm thinking of driving over on the Friday, coming back Saturday. Is anyone interested in sharing petrol $$$ etc to take a trip over?

I can fit 3 people with overnight bags into the car (SAAB convertible :) ) and its pretty comfy. I also offered on darkside, but would take OSS people in preference.

As i said over there its about 95% certain that i can and will go.

THE OFFSIDE SET REPRESENTS!!!!!!!

We did a fine job away, Me Topher Rollins and CLM stood together and chanted (led a couple/sang on our own from our little spot a couple of times). Was a fine thing to stand with our little crew, made me damn proud! I'm SOOOO looking forward to Sydney, lets go hard, doesn't matter who else is/isn;t singing with us, when we sing together with passion (yes it is easier when you're amongst 300 others, but I feel even more inspired by us now) we do a great job!

AND for the record, if you don't include the Ozspurs, WE OUTNUMBERED THE SDC!!!! YAY for us!!!!

Sounds fantastic. Did you stand with BWB etc. in the area dedicated to Melbourne Victory fans or did you stand somewhere else?

we were in the Melb away area
right in the top corner

we were later to arrive at the ground than everyone else - got left behind in the pub discussing OSS business and waiting for DD to sort out her domestics

so when we got there, the bays were pretty full (sound familiar?)

in the photos, we are up kind of behind and to the right of the kevin muscat flag

I'm sorry I held you all up from going to the ground, the issues I had at the game was very very frustrating for me and I'm sorry I impacted on you all as well, but such is life. Thank you for holding a seat for me and Kobe.

I also thank you for helping me out by keeping an eye on Kobe for me, you have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how much that helps me.

I'm still in Adelaide, about to have something to eat, then hitting the road to come home.

sorry DD - I realise now that came out like a criticism of you, and I didn't intend it that way

I just think it is typical OSS of us to be well-meaning, but a bit too vague to actually get there in time to be in the middle of things

the reason me and Topher and Rollins didn't leave with the BWB is that we were down in the pool room having a chat, and didn't notice they were leaving til the pub went quiet, and we had already missed the boat

but we were not as late as usual!

after we left you, we headed off towards the ground - then realised we had NO IDEA where it was
we had to find some Adelaide supporters to follow

Best match ever.

Ups and downs, awesome atmosphere in our area and as I said to Rollins as we got on the plane back...."Let's take our three points and get out of here."

Very impresses Rollins kept drinking at that bar, those last 5 Coronas hurt, but i was nowhere near as 'ard as you. Respect!

In one of the photos on the darkside you can actually see part of my Brebner banner. We had a great view, even if we weren't down the front. And to have the 2 goals scored in front of us was a huge bonus.

Look forward to making some huge noise in Aisle 31 on Friday.
