Last Sunday as we begun to get into our strides many people around us looked at us like we were from Mars.
However as they got involved in the match I noticed that they got into the 'Melbourne (clap clap clap)' shouting.
Now, the Taliban supporters think that this type of 'chant' is below contempt being tainted with AFL references.
Of course we don't care and I thought instead of singing 'Stand up for the Victory' that no one does, we could start more ''Melbourne (clap clap clap)' and then try a few more kosher 'C'mon Melbourne! 'C'mon Melbourne! ' chants and see whether they would follow that as well. |
