It is good to see the FFA are taking a careful approach to expansion , especially with the Townsville bid to enter the A-League.
Ben Buckley in my opinion is proving to be a real find for our code, and in the midst of all the talk of code wars, from the "Smell the Fear " merchants, Ben is quietly getting on with the building and consolidating of our beautiful game.

I agree with you Greenwood. I think Buckley knows the dangers of expansion without a proper financial basis. It is better to wait and have teams which can be sustained, rather than rush in and have them fall by the wayside like the bad ol' days.

We are also still being shunned by FTA tv news reports, and most radio here in Melbourne but pleasing to see the advances we are making on the ABC. In particular "The Offsiders" on a Sunday morning, where Ange Postocoglou is making a great contribution.

Even AFL??? Don't often watch commercial news certainly not 9.

With the extra time allowance 10 seems to give football some limited coverage, maybe another factor could be the station targets a younger demographic....
