Thought we might need a new thread for this.
Gweeds, Philly and I organised to buy tickets together for this first ACL game.
I am more than happy to let anyone who wants to join us know where we are. But I don't know yet where that will be.
Our tickets got mixed up in the Ticketdisaster ticking mess.
Anyway, as things start to emerge, I will update this post so that people can let others know where they will be.
I don't think we all need to be in one place btw. We can have more than one OSS moblet. |

genetically modified????
they are supposed to be GA, yes, but when Gweeds went to buy them, South End was not available
it appears it was a Ticketdisaster error |

can get them swapped for southend tickets by taking them back to ticketmaster |

Yes as stated in the 'south end' thread the ticket states:
Lvl 1 Aisle 42-48 or Lvl 3 Gen Admit
My take is that Telstra Dome hasn't yet communicated that the 'south end' are now available for GA and are not being assigned for away members to Ticketek and therefore the tickets are still being sold under the old A-League home and away conditions.
I think we need to contact the club and get a clarification. I am going to do it.

In the spirit of the resurgent OSS, I was thinking about how much colourful support we will be 'allowed' in Bay 26.
It could be argued that we will not be in the 'core south end' area so a bit of mild 'tifo' I am sure it will be alright.
Apparently flags are for hanging on fences and hoardings. Something of a rare commodity at Telstra Dome, considering all the advertising there. I can bring my flag without the pole and see what happens.
Maybe Rollins if you are thinking of standing with us you may want to bring the banner with 'OSS' on it. That should get top priority really. With all the publicity we got recently it would be good to show some people where we are.
Maybe we can bring some of the baloons that flow up in the air? If we stand in the front as we have been in the last few matches they can fly high and not get caught in the roof.
And of course I'll bring the kazoo!! |

I've got that banner at the moment, and will bring it along. And in my opinion (and I suppose that this is a test that work itself out in due course) so long as the OSS is distinctly seperate from the south end, and not on the fringes of it, then flags/banners/balloons are fair game, like we did in Aisle 32, the south end didn't care about what we had and what we were doing then at all. |

South End seems to allow banners but not flags.
So yeah, flags without poles should be ok.
Kazoo too. (Trumpet substitute)
Not sure how they will feel about balloons - so how about we try it and see what reaction it gets? |

It seems to me that the basic rule is that anything that does not interfer watching the match and drinking beer is OK.
Quote: so how about we try it and see what reaction it gets?
Yep. I think we should. I mean how dangerous are drunk and slighly overweight people can be?
And if that's a small start and if that's OK we can do something else next time. As Daydream said as long as the OSS is distinctly seperate from the south end it should be OK. I don't know whether bay 26 is right in the middle of it, but it doesn't look like it is. |
