Sun Nov 11, 2007 6:04 pm   Election night

There is a home game on Nov 24, the date of the federal election.

I can't miss watching those little red and blue columns go up and down, and listening to Antony Green.

I want to follow the election AND the game.
But it will have to be via the media.

At the moment, the best bet is looking like my house, where I have foxtel and broadband, and two computers.
(Though a more crowded place would be preferable.)

TA - or others -
would you be interesting in joining Gweeds and me for the double?

Doesn't sound bad. Should we invite a few others? watt and RowdyAds for example? Would include DanTheFoxBhoy and RobCFC but I believe they'll be at their respective parites' state headquarters on the night.

Just don't invite anyone by the name of Don! ;)

I'm happy to invite anyone who would welcome a Labor Victory and rejoice in the demise of Howard.

Sounds great CLM! I must admit I am more nervous about the elections than the match against Wellington.

Great

Twill be good to have company.

We'll say my place in Brunswick, and I'll pm you details on the darkside.

But if anyone comes up with a more interesting location, feel free to suggest it.

If we are at my place, the deal will be here for the game and until my kids get home from it. Then I will be going out to the local ALP bash, and people can either come with, repair to a local, or make their way back to their own neighbourhood.

Let me know if you hear of others that are interested.

Great night! I'm so glad I witnessed the end. A historic moment.

Thanks for having me (and driving me home!) Mr & Mrs CLM! :icon_clap1:

Yes, thanks for the hospitality. Great result although I think that Melbourne's season is ****.

But I can take going badly at the football as long as Howard has departed from the scene.
