After the success of inviting Tristan's Futsal mates and their dads last match I have invited my father to the Newcastle match.
My father has a deep love of football originating from supporting AC Milan (we are a Milanese family) a family tradition that goes back for generations!
In the old days when football was not such an industry, he was able to eat with the team, travel with them on away matches and being a volunteer all around (such as shovelling snow from the pitch in winter so play could commence).
So, unlike last week, where I was a bit hesitant whether my guests would like football I have no qualms this time.
I decided that level 3 is the go this time for us. |

I imagine we'll head for aisle 23 again for this game.
I would welcome a bit of stability after the nomadic existence of last year.
If anyone is looking to join us, SMS me, or look for us in the bottom section of the south end, towards to the fence, cityside. |

Just for this match. My father is not a young whipper snapper and I want him to see the match in comfort and with a good view.
For the Sydney game I may be inviting a colleague and I want to sit/stand with one of you guys. |

| After the terrible incidents that happened last night, i've been chatting with others and have decided to sit with another father and son, we are looking to maybe sit on L3 on the wing. We have no desire to get caught up in anything that might distress our kids, and i personally want to be with others, but also, i personally need space to move at will, I feel very closed in when I'm surrounded by other people sitting down. That's why i liked the space we had last season, i had the freedom to move and stand. BIG SIGH, i don't know what the hell i want anymore........ |

Heaps of space on l3, amazingly with arriving late & feeling like sitting in peace i couldn't find any.
Moved twice, must be a hyper teen magnet, perhaps they are just seeking me out for balance or something.
Big highlight of my night was seeing a heap bolt over yelling slogans as the protest broke into song.
Can't win im sure i had a reason for leaving the original terrace. |

got to say i enjoyed sitting/standing in the south end for this game but each home game will be different for me as i do not know what i am doing. and i have to think of not only the kids but my dad too, i can't see him liking the south end all the time (abit loud for him).
kristina loved it but daniel did not as he just wanted to sit and watch this time.
Staci - just let me know where you are at each home game and i might end up with you  |

we went and set up happily in aisle 23, and met up with the cousins
and thought we had the place to ourselves
but then a massive crowd of yoof descended right near kick-off
and it became rather more crowded than I like
the teens in front were crammed in 2 to a seat in front of all my short people who therefore couldn't see a thing
sigh
it is so hard to find the perfect spot
was hoping to catch up with Topher, but I can't imagine he would have had a chance of seeing me in that throng, nor yet any desire to force his way through it |
