Many people on the Dark Side are in the 'dark' about what the OSS is and why it has been formed.
Some in OSS have expressed some concern that because some OSS members are prominent in expousing opinions of certain matters those views are also the views of the OSS as a whole, which of course is not the case.
It has been suggested that this site should have a Q&A section where people can get a clearer idea about what we are on about.
What do you think about this idea?
And if you are for it what would be the Q&A that should be included? |

OK I'll start:
Q: Why the Off Side Set was formed?
We love the passion and colour that the supporter groups bring to Melbourne Victory. We too want to participate in active support for our team.
We just find we don't quite fit in to the north terrace or the south end, for a variety of reasons. Some of us have kids with, and we need to be somewhere we can keep an eye on them, and they can see the game.
[add other reasons?] |

It might be a good thing to state as a "disclaimer" of types that OSS is made up of a groups of individuals with passion and conviction all who have their own minds and that, as with all supporters groups, the opinons of the individual members are not necessarily the opinions of OSS as a group.
Again, could be worded better than what I've said. |

I assume you mean over at the darkside. Sounds like a good idea, particularly if you are looking at recruiting more people to the OSS. |

good move
we can probably deconstruct our original statement into a Q & A format
and a thing like DD said about how the views of individuals make no claim to be the collective view is also good
if we come up with a few basic suggested questions, and some answers, then we can work on how to word the answers
then put the thread up on the darkside, and answer additional questions as they arise
maybe as they ask a question (if), we then post a 'reply pending' note, bring it back here to workshop an answer, and reply when we have some degree of agreement as to what the answer is |

| Ill think of some questions later, it would probably be a good idea to add a FAQ section to the website as well. |
