That's fantastic!!!!
I reckon we should get some big butchers paper and lots of paints and textas and brainstorm our thoughts on a logo at the meeting/gathering. |

Another effort could be a little complex for a group symbol?
Might make it into a standard if i feel motivated & get my hands on a projector.

Yes well i think the yin yang or something similar would be better suited for OSS.
Also needs to be simple so it can be reproduced on banners etc easily.
Like this..

those really abstract Ned Kellys look great I reckon
I think the Ned one you did would work as a logo just as the background part, without the Kelly bit on top
maybe with MVFC or Melbourne Victory somewhere
I like the font, and basic design
wonder if it would be possible to do a yin yang that blends with a southern cross in some way |

The font is the same as the OSS banner..
Yin yang/Southern cross? Hmm it's a good idea though i wouldn't be happy with the immediate image that comes to mind. |

| I like that a lot Rollins!!!!Is there anyway we can emphasis the O,S,S, in the design or did we decide that was too easily misinterpreted? |

yay
that is good, as is the previous version
and I also like the one before that with the stars in the middle
something in Latin would be good
as would the club name or something
but they could be in danger of making it too busy |

| I like the significance of a Chinese symbol being merged with the Eureka flag, although initially it wasn't intended.. |

Yay...very Yay. Looks great and the image of the O and the two Ss is very strong and the fact that you managed to blend it with the ying and yand symbol is fantastic.
Maybe it may be difficult to screen print but it could be definfitely be a goer for a badge that we can saw on our scarves and caps (or whatever).
It can also be a great applique project for our 'official' banner! |
