As you may have read on the Dark Side and maybe heard on SEN the finals will probably be a whole reserve seater affair.
This means that if we get our seats individually we may be scattered across the stadium and;
We may end up not being able to stand.
Don't know how we can get around the second point, but should we try to at least stay together?
According to media reports Merrick has elected to have the first leg of the finals away which means that the second leg will be played on the weekend of the 2/3/4 of February. |

| If we want to sit together, we'll just need to buy our seats together, I don't see there being a problem, if any supporters group can work out the logistics of sitting together fairly easily, I'd reckon it'd be us! |

Our initial experiences haven't really filled me with confidence about our organisation skills!
Although we got better in the last few months. But that is why I am posting this now, so we get a chance to get organised. |

I reckon we should be able to manage to buy our seats in a block
but we do need people to start saying now if they are going, and how many and any other considerations
there will be the five of us
and possibly ron and chris A
will topher be gone already? |

I MAYBE might have a few with me (the two international teachers who are staying at mine ATM) and potentially my flatmate, not sure yet, and haven't seen if anyone else is up for it.
Can we confirm where we're going to sit, would like to bump our OSS thread on the darkside, also need to let others know who have been asking about us.
I'd personally prefer to be in the spot we were for the Sydeny game, but am open to going down the front near the dry area too (we'll probable get jeered at by the south end, but that's ok) |

I'm not so much in favour of that spot (area 2) for the finals.
I want to see what is happening with allocation of seating to groups and stuff first.
But I lean towards wanting to join with the other supporter groups for the finals. |

Same here my preference is
1) stay together as an OSS group, but if that is not feasible;
2) stay with the north end
I could not be in a final with the silent crowd anymore! :D |

so we have some real info
there is a designated 'supporter' section - the home end
but the south end is not so designated
we could get sets all together
at either end, or somewhere else
or split into a couple of groups
or each do our own thing
what do you all want?
personally I favour going to the 'supporter' area in the home end, and trying to get seats close to an aisle or the front so the kids might have a better chance of seeing the game
anyone else in that?
I can book up to 20 seats, so i could do a block booking. |

I'm absolutely into doing that, close to the aisle, although as you all know, I'm not a big fan of the north, but....I'm sure it'll be fine.
we wont have our own "space" to do the chants we want, if we go down the north end though....but I suppose that's a compromise we'll have to make.
What about trying to book our seats in our new aisle 27 spot? is that something we could consider? |

so I figure we need tix for
us 5, DD and kid, Rollins, Gweeds, cityblue, Ron, my two nephews
that makes 13 (Topher can't come, can he)
any others?
they should be people who can be relied on to be vocal
and we go for tix in the north end, over two rows, inc the end seats of the bay
this is for Feb 4 or thereabouts, at TD |

OK, iI've made my mind up. I see no reason to move from aisle 27, I like it ther and there are reasons tracing back to day 1 as to why I don't stand in the north or south end, and just cos it's a final doesn't change this.
I'm staying put in our area, booking back row seats in Aisle 27. Will also post something similar in the darkside, in case anyone else would like to join us. |

OK, given Aisle 27 is Away supporters, i'm going back to Aisle 31, maybe a good opportunity to make some noise on the other side of the away fans, although I'm not confident I can lead it on my own. As i said before, the north end is going to be an unknown entity, there will be lots of people wanting to be amongst it, like you yourselves are talking about, and I imagine that is gunna piss off a lot of regulars at the home end, I'd rather not risk spoiling my finals experience gambling on an unknown entity, and as we all know there's a great view of the pitch from Aisle 31.
Might even sit down and watch! |

ok folks - it is done
Aisle 2
Rows Q, R, S
seats 1 - 6 in each row (ie really on aisle 3)
comprising
Gweeds 1
Rollins 2
cityblue 2
Topher 5
CLM 8
hope this is ok for you Topher - had to take a punt
I am hoping this spot puts us in the north terrace, but not too much totally in the thick of it.
If it turns out to be full of silent people who force us to sit down
forgive me
I did my best
the tix will be posted to me -
let me know if anyone has any ideas about handing them over
(coming to visit me is a possibility, or perhaps we are available to watch one of the other finals together somewhere - anyway, I'll let you know when they arrive
I originally had aisle 44, but I changed them |

Thanks heaps CML! It will be fine!
Those seats will put us somewhere in area 8 more towards area 7.
Perfect!
Also another thing. It looks that some of the 'north end' regulars will be near us because they could not get organised to be in the home end. This may be an opportunity to show how we can make some noise ;) |
